Michelle Campbell-Ward is a zoo and wildlife veterinarian with Taronga Conservation Society, based in Dubbo NSW. She has previously worked in private practice, academia (University of Edinburgh) and with wildlife on four continents. Michelle became an RCVS Recognised Specialist in Zoo and Wildlife Medicine in 2008 and has been an exotics VIN consultant since 2014. She is the co-convenor of ZAA’s Veterinary Specialist Advisory Group and an editor and author of numerous veterinary publications. Her professional interests include conservation medicine, zoo nutrition, One Welfare and the ethics associated with the care and management of captive and free-ranging non-domestic species.
