Natalie graduated from the University of Queensland in 2008 and in early 2009 started her professional life as a mixed practice veterinarian, predominantly working with dairy cattle, in northern Victoria. After a few years in practice Natalie took a 5 month break and traveled overseas to the USA and Europe enjoying a well deserved extended break. Upon returning to Melbourne in late 2011, Natalie worked at various small animal practices across south-east Melbourne before deciding to take the leap into a veterinary industry role in July 2018.  She worked at Boehringer Ingelheim Animal Health as a Technical Services Vet before joining IDEXX as the Professional Services Vet for southern Australia in late March 2019.
