Professional Bio
Benjamin grew up in the Hunter Valley, and moved to sunny North Queensland to study a Bachelor of Veterinary Science at James Cook University, where he developed a strong interest in veterinary ophthalmology, and graduated in 2017. Benjamin worked as a rotating intern at ARH Brisbane, and was fortunate enough to undertake an externship at North Carolina State University's Ophthalmology department during this year. Benjamin then underwent an ophthalmology internship at Eye Clinic for Animals, Sydney, in 2019 under the mentorship of Dr. Cameron Whittaker, Dr. Kelly Caruso and Dr. Jeffrey Smith.  Benjamin is currently a first year resident in veterinary ophthalmology with Eye Clinic for Animals, Sydney. 

Benjamin's professional interests include ocular surface disease, exotic animal ophthalmology and ophthalmic diagnostic imaging.
