Dr Dominique Blache is a research scientist and senior lecturer at The University of Western Australia. Dr Blache studies the impact of different environments on the physiology and behaviour of animals, including sheep, goats, cattle, and native animals. He has taught Animal Ethics and Welfare since 2000 at UWA, across Australia, and overseas. Throughout his career, Dr Blache has developed a strong interest in animal welfare science, particularly animal temperament and thermal stress. He is a member of the National Primary Industries Animal Welfare Research Development and Extension Strategy (NAWRDES) and a founder of The Animal Welfare Collaborative.
