Kimberley graduated from the University of Queensland with honours in 2015. Whilst studying she worked as a wildlife officer in a sanctuary; as a nurse in a mixed animal practice; and at the UQ equine hospital. After graduating she was offered an internship at Brisbane Bird and Exotics Veterinary Service, where her love of all the unusual pets grew. After completing this she was lucky enough to join the team as a Senior Veterinarian. In 2019 Kimberley obtained her membership to the Australian and New Zealand College of Veterinary Scientists in the Medicine and Surgery of Unusual Pets. She is now working towards her second membership qualification in Avian Medicine and Surgery. In her spare time Kimberley enjoys horse riding, glass mosaics, water colour art, and spending time with her family of various species.
