Professional Bio
Lee is currently an ARC Future Fellow and Principal Research Fellow at the University of Melbourne. Previously he was Associate Dean (Research) and Senior Research Fellow within the College of Public Health, Medical and Veterinary Sciences and a Senior Lecturer within the School of Veterinary and Biomedical Sciences at JCU. Before that he was a Research Associate at the National Wildlife Health Center, USA and the University of Wisconsin. His main research focus is in understanding the impact and determinants of diseases affecting wildlife and ultimately methods to control important wildlife diseases. His current research aims to use advantageous genetic traits to improve the resilience of amphibians to disease.
