Dr Margie Bale has been a practicing clinical Veterinarian in Australia for over 26 years, mainly in mixed animal practice after graduating from UQ.
Her original focus was Cattle Medicine and Surgery at the University of Queensland Large Animal Clinic.
For the last 6 years Margaret has worked solely with the Australian Camel Population. Margaret is involved in the development of the emerging camel industry, pioneering the unique veterinary management systems required for these animals once considered a feral species. She is actively involved in Camel research projects and services clients with both pet camels and those part of a larger meat/ dairy export industry .
