Dr Margaret Curtis is a veterinarian with a Graduate Diploma in Veterinary Clinical Studies, a PhD in the Epidemiology of Nutritional and Reproductive Disorders in Dairy Cattle, a Master of Public Health and a Graduate Certificate in International Food Law and Regulation. Dr Curtis has been working in research and development in the animal health sector for nearly 30 years including almost 20 years with Elanco Animal Health. While working for Elanco Dr Curtis was based in the corporate headquarters in the USA for almost 12 years, primarily as Director for Global Regulatory Affairs and Director for Dairy Product Research and Development. Dr Curtis has directed complex research and regulatory projects resulting in approvals of veterinary drugs in animals across many geographies including Americas, Europe and Asia/Pacific. More recently as the Head of Research and Development for CannPal Animal Therapeutics she has covered the full breadth of the development, research and regulatory program for CannPal’s global portfolio of plant derived therapeutics focussed on the cannabis plant.
