Stuart Barber

Professional Bio

Stuart Barber is a senior lecturer at the University of Melbourne and teaches animal production, health and welfare predominantly into the first two years of the veterinary degree. One of his research areas is in the use of extended reality, including virtual reality, to reduce the gap between urban and rural areas. In particular bringing farming practice into the city classroom to improve agricultural and veterinary education.  He also coordinates the work integrated learning program for the first two years of the degree including placements on farming enterprises.
