After graduation Sue undertook an Internship at the University of Pennsylvania, USA and then worked for a year in private equine practice in the USA. Subsequently Sue was employed by the Centre for Equine Studies of the Animal Health Trust in Newmarket, UK, for 37 years, as a clinician evaluating lameness and poor performance. She has also been engaged in clinically related research. She is passionate about improving lameness diagnosis and management. Sue, a former President of the British Equine Veterinary Association, has published widely and lectured internationally.
