Susan Beths BSC(hons), BVMS, Grad Cert(clinical Teaching), MRCVS. Fear Free Certified.

Susan Beths (Sooze) is a lecturer at Melbourne University, teaching in the exotic animals and birds component of the DVM course and working clinically as an exotic clinician. She’s also an emergency vet at Geelong Animal Emergency. She graduated from Glasgow in 2005, is a marine mammal medic and has a graduate certificate in clinical teaching. Currently she is working towards the RCVS Certificate of Advanced Veterinary Practice in Zoological Medicine.

Sooze has taught at universities around the world and worked clinically with a wide range of exotic animals in the UK, Caribbean, South Africa, Ecuador and Australia. These include marine mammals, turtles, tortoises, primates, African wildlife, and all the usual exotic pets and birds.
