Bio
Wendy Hamood graduated from Murdoch University in 1990. She spent the first 20 years of her veterinary career working in mixed, emergency and companion animal practice. She then took up an academic position at the University of Adelaide. Her teaching and research interests included professional skills, career development and work-integrated learning. She recently completed a Masters in Social Work, which involved the opportunity to gain practicum experience working in a child protection team as well as a generalist hospital and community social work role. Wendy is currently the AVA SA Division policy council representative.
